October Thoughts By Bernadette Gentry

By Bernadette Gentry

In the cool morning air, and wearing my red fleece jacket and
pink Red Sox baseball cap, I’m surrounded by the beauty of
the October leaves.
I wonder, though, why I experience a touch of sadness.
Is it that I know that summer flowers and song  birds will
soon be gone, and sunny days replaced by the grey skies
of November?

That’s why it is important to remind myself that while
seasons will always change, and Life along with it, I must
put my faith in the Creator of it all, thereby appreciating
and accepting the beauty of each season.
